gday guys,
the cross member is still for sale, i have spun a big-end bearing in my GZE, need the cash for a rebuild.
professionally made cross member, good clearances, mounted close to firewall in an attempt to maintain good weight balance. Does not come with gearbox mount, although comes with rubber engine mounts.
Also will suit CA18 perfectly.
$400ono located on the Gold Coast.
i also have bits and peices to suit GZE (manifolds, throttle bodies, etc). AE86 steering rack, std 13" rims + tyres, tail lights, 86 bits'n'peices,
PM or call for details, 0404 602 975
cheers, Daniel

So with this crossmember does the SR clear the firewall and is a need to modify the transmission tunnel?
So do the engine mounts come with the crossmember?Or is it just the Bushes.
Thanks tai

the SR does clear the firewall, although the trans tunnel does need to be modified to suit the S13 gearbox. i'd recommend using an R32 RB20 box as the overall length is shorter giving you a better shifter position. I have also mounted a CA18DEt in the engine bay, the firewall did not need any modifications, and the trans tunnel didn't need modifying either, the CA bellhousing is smaller in diameter.
the engine mounts are the rubber bushes, factory SR metal mounts are to be used with this cross member.
crossmember may be sold, waiting for a response. Place an offer, as the customer has offered below asking price
cheers
Daniel
