ok sounds dodgy cause it probably is
if i had a set of four coilovers say 8kg front and 6kg rear, and i was only gonna install the fronts only but i didnt want crazy stiff springs, could i use the rear softer springs on the front coilovers if i shortened them?
yes i understand you could just lower the front with the adjustable seats to account for the longer springs, but if the rear springs are very long could you lop a coil or two off? i know people are gonna say buy a softer rate front spring but i just wanna know if theres any trouble using the softer rears in the front.

If they are even diameter over the whole spring you will make them stiffer when you chop them

custom coilover springs are what?? $100 each?
just buy new ones
the cut springs will not seat properly (unless you have a weirdass top/bottom perch that was designed for chopped springs?)
nah what am i saying.. just give it a go

they will be harder according to this formula
if you cut them in half, they will be twice as hard.
get new ones
