AE86 Indicator Lense

I want to remove the lense of the indicator (the one next to the parker). I took it off the car and took the little screw out at the bottom but still won't buge

You want to pull the lense off? Usually those things are pretty well sealed on?

it begs the question, why do you need to remove it?
it's part of the parker... you can't take it out

Youd probably break the lense before you managed to pry apart the glue they use. Perhaps you could pour the paint inside and swish around and pour out. Id probably test its sealed properly though with water before just incase (otherwise you might end up with black parker as well or even black pants  )

Do most people paint the outside? Does it chip easy? If you need to remove the paint, can you?

Yeah just mask surrounding areas and paint the outside.
It wont chip easily, just use some wax and grease remover and clean surface , u might also want to give it a clear coat, so it wont wash away.
