Hi all,
Time to raise some funds for my N/A project so these parts are up for sale. I could use bits and pieces from this motor but that would be a sin, so I will start over. No pictures yet, but I will get them up if there's any genuine interest.
For sale I have:
-1 x '96 ae101 MAP sensor'd 4a-gze (does not include supercharger or inlet manifold.) 70,000km on engine, my flat-mate brought this front-cut from Japan himself around 3 years ago. Engine ran fine in front-cut, has been stored since. There is a small amount of surface corrosion around the plugs on the outside of the head. The engine has been stored with oil in it, bottom end is fine, and head internals have been inspected by a Toyota mechanic and are fine. I simply don't have the time to get it acid bathed, repainted and re-assembled right now. Like I said, I would keep it, but I can get what I want from an ae92 engine. Engine does not include power steering pump, alternator or air-con accessories. It does include all metal water piping, and supercharger brackets.
-1 x full wiring loom. Loom is only cut in one place, which is at the cam angle sensor (this is not a distributor type ignition). There are 4 wires here from memory, not difficult to re-attach.
-1 x ECU
All items are from the front cut and are genuine and original. I also have some other left over parts such as the gze clutch & flywheel & bell housing. I also have one set of ae101 silvertop 20 valve quad throttles, which I may part with if there is interest. Please don't ask for other parts, I don't have much else.
I will only sell the engine/loom/computer together unless an exceptional offer is put forward for individual items. My thoughts are that around $850 is pretty reasonable for this package. If not please PM your thoughts on what is a fair price. Internally the engine is fine, if you don't want to clean it then you could put it straight it. Superchargers are a dime a dozen to get for it with all the 4a-gte conversions around. Otherwise this engine would be well suited for turbo conversion.
PM reply please or call me 0401 167 842. I'm located in Gosford, NSW.
Thanks
Scott
