well - for me - it was :
1977 ford marquis ( midnight blue ) - 6.2 litre stroked 351 , c10 auto , 9 inch - plush tank-mobile - the ultimate cruiser
currently - 1971 ta22 , modified 2t-b , sports gorst and 'stractors , mags , stereo , suspension mods , allt he normal stuff to make em " hotter "
parts cars :
1976 ra28 ( rustbucket - wheels donor )
1974 ta22 ( gearbiox donor + miscellanious junk - another BOG rustbucket )
1977 ta40 ( yes - ta40 ! ) - current Motor Donor
+ drivetrain spares which have mostly sold - another body rustpile - surprised the thing held together considering the motor it had's very lumpy tendancy's( shook like a pro stock dragster )
front end was totally fooked due to the 2T-B making the things do wheelstands - no joke !

My very first car was a Series 1 RX-3 with a 12A Monster Port. It used juice like nobody's business but did run a flat 8 down the Canberra 1/8 mile track (RIP). Blew the motor up. Replaced the motor with a stock 13B. Blew it up. Rebuilt the 13B with a Bridgeport and Nos. Didn't blow it up, sold it.
Picked up a Mk 2 Escort. Piece of crap.
Picked up the bog stock Sprinter. Best car I've owned. Gutless but fun.
Cordia Turbo. Never, ever buy one of these shitboxes. 80's turbo technology leaves a lot to be desired.
Current car is an ST162 Celica Cabriolet. Basically a two door Camry (3S-FE). FWD, gutless, need I say more? I do find pop-up lights quite entertaining - just another thing that can go wrong.

then a 76 4 door corolla, droped a 5 speed and the 1500 engine into this one.
then a 85 mazda 626
the a 95 Barina (shame)
a 99 deawoo nubera
then a 95 VR Commodore
now my pride and joy a 77 RA23 18r+extractor+weber. Soon to add another cam to this mix

I'd be putting shame next to the daewoo. 
What you did on your '76 rolla is what I did to mine. Dropped in a 5pd box and a 5k (1500) engine. Then took it to speedo limit (180km/h). Ah fun. Havn't been anywhere near that fast since.

Great starting point.....85 Jd Camira. did 300 000 k's on the original engine and came without the smoke blowing option. Engine was still good when it hit a fence 
Then came a 81 ke70 panel van with the T18 style nose on it
Sold that for an Awesome, Show quality Black ae82 twin cam that knocked a pole out of the ground. ooops. Insurance came in and i bought my current ride but in standard form with the 4k.
While a mate was painting that i was sick of busses so i bought a Series 2 rx7 in immac condition with just over 100 000 on the clock which i sold to move to shepparton. Now have spent approx 7000 on my rolla.

My first car was a frog green 1968 mini moke, it was just like small tandem trailer with a motorbike engine in it, four cylinders and 880cc's of tar tearing terror. It would have had to have been one of the best cornering cars ive been in.

there's a vw beetle ute puttering around epping at the moment ... got a massive leak on the exhaust manifold, but still looks cool.
all the panels are different colours too (professionally sprayed)
I've had:
1st love, my 1984 RA65 celica (22R-e). Loved that car... could take endless thrashing and loved corners
2nd: brief fling with a 1984 MA61 supra (5m-e). crashed it at 110km/hr (with only a crack in the bumper to show for it I might add), and sold it within a month of getting it
current love: 1jz-gte 1984 MA61 supra. Goes FAST, and I'm starting to get the hang of it's handling capabilities. Although it is tough having a project car as your daily driver...

1) 86 Sigma - shit car, auto had alot of problems but had some balls in the old gilr, learnt to drive in it, got it when i was 15, sold it jsut before i got #2
2) 1976 GC? Chrysler Galant - got when i was 16...worked 21 days straight to pay for her. 1600cc of sheer powah. I loved this car, nothing pretty to look at but i had plans for her, oh yes i did, sold it when i got kicked out of home and had to move to Perth. She funeded the trip 
3) 1992 Hyundai LS Excel - 4 doors of steeming shit. I hate this car!
4) Money pending but hopfully a beautiful MA61 Supra VERY SOON

Well it seems like finance is almost 100% assured *fingers crossed*
And when i have the money(for both conversion costs and insurance ) i'll be going a 7m-gte...i was thinking 1jz but i have a bit of a soft spot for the 7m.
But i dont think that'll be untill next year when i'll hopfully be moving to NSW with a new job(better insurance options there compared to here)
Anywho if(or thinking positive WHEN) i get the supra the only convertion i think i'd go for is a 5m-ge or 6m-ge man converstion.
Somthing cheapish and simple to cut my teeth on so to speak, as i'm not overly mechanically minded

Mmmk.. Im 19 and ive had:
1) 1983 Non Turbo Cordia.. looked nice but soooo slooowww
2) 1986 Turbo Cordia.. Much faster.. looked crap and it blew up
3) 1985 Turbo Cordia with 2L DASH 12v engine etc but i gave the project up
4) 1979 TE Cortina - runabout car
5) 1983 4AGE AE86 Sprinter - Liked this very much and now froodogs on this forum owns it..
6) 1983 4AGTE AE86 Sprinter - Favourite car ive ever had!!
All in all.. stupid amounts of money spent.. And i beg all of you to not buy a Cordia Money pits !

Well... seeing as I've only been driving for... 4 years.
I've only had a couple of cars.. though they were very nice cars!
Toyota Sprinter (AE85(*Sob* so close to an 8-6))running a 4AGZE.
Toyota Corolla (85 running an 4-AGE)
and soon to be running a
Toyota Supra (1983-85), completely stock, but going for some upgrades afterwards.
All shall be kept in the condition that a toyota deserves.

As best I can remeber...
Fiat 127 my first ever car, aqua marine in colour and I still remeber replacing the faded laminate wood panel for alloy gauge plates
Mini S Rally car with 1275 cooper engine inherited from my father after he gave up racing, came to a tragic end after a roll over down a 30ft bank and into a tree in the Rotorua forrest
Mini LE Road/Rally car with 1275 engine was built using the salvagable parts from the first one
Datsun 180B Rally car stock as a rock and loved getting sideways, one of my favorite cars still
Various road bikes for a while
Toyota Levin AE85 Rally car saw too many bike fatalaties so went back to having something solid around me..I cried the day I sold it to raise money for my overseas trip..right after I had spent the better part of $2K on suspension......woman problems ... need I say more
Toyota Levin AE85 my daily driver while I had the car above
Mini LE my first car in Aus..I bought it so I could see my newly aquired romance who just happens to now be my wife ...she had to wait 9 months before seeing me again though, still had lots of travelling to do
Toyota Corolla AE82 with 4AFE (Australian Seca type shape) went hard till I killed the engine
Mini LE temporary replacement for the rolla
Toyota Corolla KE25 another replacement after I blew the head gasket on the Mini and swore Id never work under one of those small bonnets again
Holden Barina (never again!!!!) need I say more
Toyota Sprinter AE86 first introduction to the Aus spec Levin, was written off after a nose to tail one wet and cold night
Toyota Sprinter AE86 the current poo brown shitbox
Toyota Corolla KE70 with 4AC was to be the project club car but will now be de-commisioned
Toyota Cressida MX83 the family wagon or as I like to call it ..the sprog taxi
this is not including the wrecks Ive bought for parts in between

Gold 28, yes it appears that way,, I do know some people who are around my age and have had 50 cars plus, come to think of it I did forget 3 cars on that list!
