noisy 5th gear in ae71 and sparco seat repairs

ahd a noise in 5th gear for a while now nilly 3 years was the same when i bought the car, is this a common problem in the gear box that the 5 gear syncro is a little noisy when driving??????
and does n e one know of somewhere that fixes sparco race seats in newcastle area that can fix the inside as it has broken and isnt as hard as it should be
