Replacing gaskets Wed, 26 February 2003 07:29 Go to previous message
I'm currently pulling parts off my engine to detail before it goes into the engine bay, but I want to replace the gaskets while I'm at it.

1) I was just double checking, I SHOULD be using gasket goo with the gasket material to seal them all off right?

2) Also, someone told me to be careful with the order that you tighten the bolts on your intake manifold and make sure they are torqued to the right setting when putting it back on, is this correct?

Thanks,
Nathan
