went to mates place yesterday and i took along a supra box to weigh the 3 boxes and to check the measurements
T,A series weigh 28 kilos this includes b/housing
W57 series weigh 37 kilos
aisan 6speed weigh 41 kilos ,we also took a measurement across the box the T series 140mm, across the W series 210mm across and the 6speed 180 across .also we checked the b/housings ,but only the 6speed and w series .the 6 speed is 100 mm longer than the s series b/housing and also the g/stick posi is 100mm further than the furtherest W series box. the 6 speed does have 2 g/stick positions thou .so in conclusion the 6 speed would be very hard to mount ,in a ta22 or ra40 for that mater as the b/housing would hit the firewall ,could fix that by pulling everything forward but then the probs of the x/member ,and also dont forget the g/stick is now 100mm back further 2 so if any 1 else can shed some light on this this would be a good thread ,also noted its a w57 with S series b/housing with nothing machined off it ,also the 6speed is the Altezza to suit a 3sge motor
