justcallmefrank Forums Junkie I supported Toymods Location: Perth Registered: May 2002	Starting a 1G without gearbox and bellhousing Mon, 03 March 2003 00:27 Hey everyone, My 1GGTE is sitting there with no clutch or gearbox/bellhousing, just its flywheel. The starter motor (which I don't have at the moment) goes into the side of the bellhousing, and looks like it may be attached to it. What I'm wondering is if anyone has had this experience and knows if I can attach the starter and just fire it up the way it is? I just wanted to drop it in as soon as the paint is finished to not drag out the start of my warranty too long. Does anyone with experience in 1G's know if this can be done?
