7M-GTE ecu question Sat, 08 March 2003 07:07 Go to previous message
One of my friends has recently picked up a 7m-gte to put into his mk2 supra.
now the thing didnt come with an ECU and he wants to know if he can get an aftermarket ECU to run everything, or does he need to buy a stock 7m ecu then piggyback an aftermarket one onto it?

he also wants to know if there is a way of doing this without the wiring harness, as in getting somone to maybe make a custom one up to suit the aftermarket ecu(as the one that came with it was damaged beyond repair along with the ECU) or again is it more viable to try find an undamaged 7m-gte wiring harness?

pretty much in the end he wants to end up with an aftermarket ECU, but wants to know how he should go about doing this...with or without the stock ecu

PS i hope that makes sence :/
