4age compression/crankshaft question Mon, 10 March 2003 08:51 Go to next message
Does anybody know what sort of compression you can expect with a 0.5mm headgasket on a 4age. Is there some way to calculate this or something? also would an 86kw crank be able to handle this sort of compression, would a 100kw crank make a difference.

Just dont want to have an engine built then have the crank fail on me.

Sure you can work it out - have to dust off some high school maths and work out the differences in cylinder volume.
