Just bought my mk2 supra today
Had a cd player already installed but when turned on all you got was static from the speakers.
so i took it out to have a look at the wiring to see if somthing had come loose.
well first impressions where shocking!
What they'd done was cut off the factory adapter thingo and tried splicing(not sure if it was ever succesful) a new "female" adapter onto the factory stereo wiring(this was done because the cd player came with an adapter hardwired onto it, not just bare wires like most do)
now after noticing that some of the splices werent even taped up to cover the wires, and that the ground wire wasnt attached to the car end of things i quickly disconnected the cd player and shoved everything back in.
What i want to know is if anyone has a wiring guide for the mk2 supra stereo as there are 6 loose wires all up(comming from the car) and i'd like to know what they do, in fact i'd like to know what all the car wires do just to check to see if the idiot who tried doing this in the first place even got it half right.
i dont have a mulitmetre so that poses a bit of a problem
hopfully somone here can help me, either that or i give up and pay some "professional" to do it for me
