I am having alt troubles in my little torana, I think it is cactus. It s an old, externally regulated unit. I have another one but it is internally regulated I think, it only has the B+ and N (charge light) connections. If I put this one in and connect the 2 wires, the car runs on it alone, but dies when the lights are turned on (no battery connected).

The old alternator had a B+, a N and a F.

Can anyone tell me how to connect the internal reg. alt. to the old girl??

Thanks, Tim.
