I was talking to people some time back about cold air intakes and air box modifications so i thought i would share this little mod.
MA61 Supra airbox meets the angle grinder. Im running a K&N stock size filter in this modded box (which has a larger filter area than a pod) and the box is surrounded by a heat shield, which seals against the bonnet. Also running a 4 inch cold air intake to front bar.

Lost a bit of low end torque esp in 3rd gear, however the top end gains were pretty noticeable!
The cost, well the filter was $130, heat sheild material $7 from clark rubber and the use of a 4 inch angle grinder. About $20 if u need to hire one.
