I was wondering if i could get some advice of you guys.
My SV21 Camry is coming up to its 200000Km service and its beginning to burn oil and show signs of blow by (smoky exhaust under load and high revs). It isnt leaking oil, and we have had it since new. I had a word with my mechanic, said i could just run a thicker oil or get a recoe'd engine. Said if i wanted to fix it or get a new engine, its gonna cost me over $2000
Im just wondering whether its worth having my car fixed, or cutting my losses and selling it.
Ive done all the basic mods, filter, exhuast, susp and tyres. Be a shame to see my first car go
Or, could this be a good excuse to drop a 3S-GE and a manual box in...
