Final found a sera motor, I put a deposit on it today,
Quite cheep considering only $750
After seeing joels Gorgeous engine bay on a cruise about a month ago It inspired me to do the same and improve the asthetics of the Sera's engine bay (Love your work joel)
So I'm on a mission to find some descent heat resistant engine enamal.
If anyone knows of a good brand of paint that holds up agaist such heats, Help us out and tell me what to use.
I can't wait to introduce my sera to the club, and then you might understand why I love it as much as I do.
P.S If I get my engine bay even half as good as joels I'll be stoked.
Oh and another thing, I was looking for the engine model number
on the engine to make sure it was a sera engine but only found that e5e-y10 and 5e was stamped on it.
They dont stamp the engine model on the damn things as the sera engine is a 5e-fhe and the sera is known as an exy10
So it seems likely that its is and the importer assured me.
The only engine thats close is the paseo 5e-fe and the inlet maifold is different, I remember comparing the two when Gee120 owned his.
Why do they make things so difficult?
anyway its not long now till she's back on the road, Can't wait
