Firstly sorry this is such a big thread to download, but I felt it would be worthwhile to a lot of you who are contemplating a conversion, to read. I came across this the other day, and for those that are familiar with conversions, this will leave you gobsmacked. I have seen some dodgey conversions but this one is a shocker, worst of all it was done by one of the so called professionals that are happy to take money from those who rely on their knowledge and expertise. I reckon this used to belong to a mate of mine. Never saw the car myself though. It was even dodgier than in the article, it didn't have any brakes to speak of, and the suspension was so shit it could hardly grip the road.
