Sbyder----------->
To answer your question, I will sell it to the first person who turns up, is serious about buying it, and has the money to pay for it. I seriously think this Supra will be sold within the next 2 or 3 weeks. It is in my local paper from next Wednesday as well. This car wont take long to sell.
I have heaps more pics, and would be happy to email them to you.
Obviously because you are in Brizzy, you cant look at it as if it was just down the street, but take this car as an example, this is how MA61 Supra's are supposed to look, and when they are looked after as well as this one, they are hard to find. This should have been advertised for alot more, but this price seemed more reasonable, and will make the car more attractive to a potential buyer.

Why oh why dont you live in Perth
There are NO decent MA61 supras here for sale
There is however a nice specimen around the corner for me...i'm thinking about making an offer to the guy and see what he says, hopfully he'll say YES because i've only ever seen him drive it once, and its parked in the front of his house 99% of the time i drive past(usually a couple times a day at different hours)
Anyways i'm babbling on here....hope it goes to a nice new home.
As a side note, do you know how many Litres of paint you'd need for a respray of a MA61?

Dude, there is nothing wrong with the car, I havent even had anyone look at it yet. It is an Auto. I dont think it is cheap, just an average price. I dont like putting stupid prices on cars. It is a reasonable price, and for anyone who wants a MA61, this car is one of the best around.

I have just had the whole car detailed, and the seats and carpet steam cleaned. I'm not driving it unless someone comes to look at it. I'm trying to keep it clean and tidy. If you are serious about buying a MA61 Supra, I'm only 50 minutes away. Just near Terigal. Trust me, This thing is a stunner.
If I was still driving it to uni, I would have dropped in to your place no worries. Sorry man.

Remember that the price on that supra is negotiable, and I'm willing to accept offers below the asking price.
My dad is a mechanic, and worked for HOLDEN (GMH) for 18 years, so the service history on this car would probably be better than most.

That is a beautiful car!!
If only you lived closer... like South Australia
I drove one of these a year ago, was the model the year before this one (not as good condition) and it was very nice to drive.
I suppose getting it from sydney to adelaide is a tough job... so *sigh* i can only pass.

Just a few questions... Is it a manual?
Do all the electrics work?
Is the power steering working well?
And err.. what tyres do you have on there? (brand etc)

Legally you have 3 months to change the rego from NSW to SA. The rego would cost about $200 for another 12 months. Greenslip should still be current.
All the electrics work fine.
Power steering is fine.
4 Speed Auto.
Tyres are all 225/65's
they arnt all the same brand, but they have good tread.

If I lower the price of the car, you could have the supra, and a 5 speed conversion for under $5000.

Here are the pics you wanted, one of the front, and one of the rear.
Engine:
5ME 2.8L Single Overhead Cam Straight Six cylinder
About the conversion, I will leave that question to other people that have done it, because I personally havent done it before. It does go well though, for an auto.
Price ??? You offer an amount, and I will say yes or no.
Its better to handle that once you have seen the car, and to negotiate in person.

Ask JAZE. He has done an auto to manual conversion, he would know how hard/easy it is.
Post a thread in TECH AND CONVERSIONS to find out how much to do an auto--->manual conversion on a MA61.

Hey Devil rolla the manual swap is REALITIVLY easy i haven't done it personaly but have talked to others who are. the boxes swap right over from what i understand. then is a bit of cuting and weldin to get the clutch pedal in. also the auto Mk2's came WITHOUT an LSD rear end that means if u want that u will have to source a rear end from a manual Mk2. that too should swap straight over tho.

The swap is relatively easy, requires the pedals, the clutch/flywheel gear, the manual box and the manual tailshaft.
Cressida_Supra has a swap about it somewhere on the net, I can't be bothered finding it atm, but you can just search on the net, very similar.
All Aus-delivered Mk2 Supras came with an LSD also. The manual ones came with 3.9:1 ratio and autos with 4.1:1.

About bloody time!
Whoever the lucky buyer is, me thinks they are picking up quite a bargain. It's a beautiful looking car. And, yeh, auto MA-61's come with 4.1 LSD. The autoboxes are really tough - it's just that the 5ME doesn't put out enough power to get the best out of the boxes.

Yeah, I only had 4 people look at it the whole time it was for sale. That kinda makes it hard to sell if not many people look at it. It has been in the paper for about 2 months, and on toymods for about 6 weeks. The guy that left the deposit is coming back with the rest of the money on sunday. Fingers crossed he comes back !!!
