Any idea what the other car was that was running anyway? Possibly a late model Trans-Am by any chance? lol.. should've painted it black & put gold wings on the bonnet - ala. Smokey and the Bandit style hehehe

Yeah, it's a Camaro, not a Firebid. Same shit really.

The big news is that they're killing off the Firebird and replacing it with a Pontiac GTO instead... "What will the new GTO be?" you ask? Nothing other than a Dunnydoor Monaro....

I read an article about it... Funny to see the Americans go on about the CommonDoor having "Euro influences".... hahah

Oh yeah, and that van would've flogged 99% of the people on this forum..... Scary... I've seen vans run the quarter before, the fastest one was about 19s I think.... Rolling

Has anyone ever compared the side view of a Monaro to a Dodge Stratus (I think). These are apparently an American version of the Mitsubishi Lancer. Good to see Holden are good at ripping other cars off!!!

hey rob_ra40. Yeh i think your talking about andrew small (smally). Yeh he has a sr-20 van. My friend has a gze ta22 and sorta had a race with it, blew it away Nod. The van was just wheels spining and the diff was trampping big time. Then at the next lights he stopped about 30 metres back from us, so he didnt have to race again. Very Happy

this is freaky

the other week i was outside autobarn cause my mate was getting a stereo installed and a bloke pulled up in a white RA40 and started checking out my car..

i went over and told him about it and he was saying he had a mate that has a 4A-GZE TA22 and he wanted to put a GZE in his RA40 so i showed him my 1G and told him about toymods and the 1G-GTE..

is this the same bloke your talking about, he mentioned he worked for the holden dealership?

yeh well my mate andrew with the ta22 has a guy in his tafe class with a ra40, and im pretty sure he works for a holden dealer. I thought that you might of been the guy in his tafe class but i was just on the phone to andrew, and he told me the other guys name, but i cant remember what he said.
