thefastj Regular Location: Melbourne Registered: January 2003	technical 1UZ-FE questions Sat, 12 April 2003 05:30 firstly just some questions regarding wiring for a 1UZ-FE (or any car really i guess) i got a Crown half-cut and am going to be running it stock with stock gearbox but i am taking off the traction control, cruise control, ABS, A/C... 1. my questions are, with the wiring side of things to wire it up without traction control...what exactly do i need to put in place of the traction control ecu so the car won't run in limp mode...like does the wire need a certain voltage sent to it or something?? 2. same with cruise control...as it has an ecu as well...can i just cut the wire? 3. does ABS have any wiring that is included on the engine/gearbox side of things?? if yes, what and where? also the same question as above.. 4. with the stock fuel pump being set-up to run on 9V or 12V, does that mean i'd be best to get pump that can do this (or can all pumps do it)?? or can i just buy any pump? 5. what is the "exhaust control flap"?? that's it, anything else i should be aware of? thanks [Report message to a moderator]
