Freak i just use normal acrylic primer (primer filler is good, i can never get it perfect and the primer filler helps fill any little imperfections) and paint on all my fibreglass creations...
make sure you use wax and grease remover (prepsol) before you prime, and again before you paint. use a different cloth to appply it and another to wipe it off.

you can buff it if you want after a few days to get rid of any bits of overspray, but it is not really recommened to polish new paint for about 3 weeks.
