Just wondering how i add a pic to become my avatar 
I've got one saved as a jpeg on hdd....

 Go to your profile, the link is on the top of the page.
Set Avatar Type to Upload Avatar.
Then click on the browse button and choose your JPEG file.
Type in your password and click on Update.
Then wait for one of the admins to approve your avatar.
