Owned for the last 29 years by a lady who for medical reasons is now unable to drive. Car is a 4 door sedan,1300 motor,4 speed manual with a genuine 80,000 miles on the clock. Garaged all it's life,good paint no rust & with a good interior for it's age.
Motor is excellent,as are tyres & has a near new battery. Being critical there is slight bearing noise in the gearbox & looseness in the front end which I think is the nylon bush in the l/h rack end (a common fault in the earlier small Fords)
Car is in really good nick for its age. I am a car crank & first noticed this car several years ago driven by one of my then customers & we often used to converse about the "old days" Out of the blue in November I received a phone call advising me the lady was physically no longer able to drive the car & did I want it. I bought it, drove it home,put it in the shed & it has not turned a wheel since. My wife has been on my back to get "rid of it" as it is taking up her wetweather clothes line space (when it rains she hangs the washing in this shed)
