heya,
i replaced the sealed beams on my old corolla (69) with H4's using some random 80/120 bulbs. they are a pretty bright so i have them pointed down a bit more than usual. they definitely light up the road a lot better!!!
there's no comparison goign the H4's. you can chuck in different globes, chaeper and easier to change if the blow (maybe not for the pop-ups Wink. no need to stick to the legal size of 55/60W Very Happy

you will find that the more expensive lenses will focus the light better, and have a better spread than the cheaper ones. but if don't want to lay out the cash for the better ones, the cheaper ones will still be better than the sealed beams.

Cya, Stewart
