i have seen an 18R-GU put into a TA22.. there is a SERIOUSLY a lot of work involved if you want it to sit properly and not dodgy. THe crossmember needs some serious modifications and some custom engine mounts fabricated. For all that hassle you could buy a good 2T-G, install it and sell the 18R-GU and be out of pocket by only a small amount! And don't forget how easy it is to stroke the 2T out to a 1800cc using the 3T crankshaft!!

As well as that - why ruin the precise handling of the TA22?
