celicaboy Forums Junkie Location: brisbane Registered: March 2003	Re: Ra23 Conversion 13B-T Vs 1UZ-FE Thu, 24 April 2003 12:11 i would say go for a 13bt... get a series 5 rx7 half cut or maybe a 4 if you cant find a 5... i prefer a 13bt because they are small light and you can make big hp with little mods smallness and light weight engine means it wil handle alot better then a heavy v8 in it and still you godda build the motor again to suit turbo where as the 13bt already ahve that and is probably 1/4 of the weight of a 1uz you use the rx7 gearbox for it but you will haveta get new engine munts made up and gearbox mounts done but thats not a drama.. will be alot easier then a v8 for it and just godda get tailshaft modified.. you will haveta do all that with the v8 but 13bt wil be alot cheaper and easier to do.. plus you will have alot more room int he engine bay and will be easier to work on [Report message to a moderator]
