they are single piston calipers on the RA-6* celica... and also a good thing to note is that those particular struts WILL NOT be very good for the camber of your front wheels. When mounted into an RA6* they are at a fairly decent angle to vertical.... whereas in the RA40 or RA23 they are mounted almost perpendicular to the ground. Hence the strut will induce positive camber on your front wheels. This CAN be fixed by an increase in the lower control arm's length, but that also messes with track width, and generally mucks around with the handling.
Best bet is upgrade to the RT-132 corona strut. DOESN'T affect geometry of the front suspension AT ALL, and has 10.5" solid discs, with twin piston calipers. Also allows for some HEFTY upgrades later on.
