Yeah, keep it away from any line that opens up like that - when you turn the wheel and the vacuum valve opens, suddenly the MAP sensor will see stuff all vacuum, and add HEAPS of fuel, and make the car stall. You need to tee it into a line with a dead end, e.g. fuel pressure reg, or better still give it it's own hose. The power steering vacuum hose is probably the worst one you could choose!
