if you were boring out the cylinders, and used a lower compression piston, would it not be defeatist?

i mean, going from a 9.7:1 piston from the 18R-G down to a 8.5:1 (pulled a figure) for the 20R, would that not almost lose the power before you gain it in some sense?

I realise that boring would increase toqure, but wouldn't it be far MORE beneficial to maintain a similar compression ratio?

Im just wonder guys... no criticism of what you are doing here of course! Very Happy
