Hey, my finance went through today, so i get my new car tomorrow.
I ended up getting a ST184 1990 Toyota Celica.
It's the last model with popup lights. Anyway, it's already got keyless entry which beeps, but doesn't flash any lights when locked or unlocked.
What i would like to do is find the wire that power goes through to light up the lights, which i can do using a test light. I want to get this wire and put it into my headlight circuit so that when i unlock/lock the car, the brakelights flash and the lights pop up (as they do when you switch it to headlights, even if just for a fraction of a second).
Does anybody know where the wire is that i should patch in to, or how i can identify it. I want the part between the dash and the relay, because i dont' think there would be a lot of power there?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. My next car will be a supra
