Darola, my car is an ae86 thus rear wheel drive.

So i'd be guessing a totally different gearbox..

But anyway, thanks to the help of a great bloke I played around with it a bit, flushed the gbox and filled it back up with gearbox oil and yes, that's right...

The werid clicking sound was there, came to a dead stop in 1st pretty much and reverse it had the noise but moved.

Also, when I flushed it, I got some gear teeth I think, so I think this gearbox will find my trashcan soon.

Have to break out the spare and get the mechanic to whack it in (if that's under the warranty).

It even makes the clicking noise in neutral.. but it dosen't when i've got the clutch down..

anyone got any ideas? any! no matter how strange, fooz86@iprimus.com.auor just post here, thanks.
