well you look for the obvious things rust damage etc, main rust areas for ae82s are the fule cap area very common and also tailgate area. u mite have some trouble finding one with that many kms but theres no reason y cant find one just mite take a while. main differences are the shape of the car engines are faifly same just slit power differences 88kw n 100wk, should be right with that if any one knows differently feel free to correct me there. the ae92s have a bit more advanced dashboard few extra guages etc. i guess its up to u what u really like, some like the 82s some the 92s. i like em both, i was to buy another corolla itd be a 92.
