As far as i'm aware, no one makes 'off the shelf' 3TG forgies (they definately didnt when I bought mine)
I sent a standard piston to APEP in victoria, and they copied it from a ROSS forged blank, so I still used the factory gudgeon pin size & factory rods. The pistons were 20 thou oversize, to suit the bore size after machining them for a cleanup. If your bores are ok, and only need re-honing, then you could get away with standard bore size pistons.
The 3TG rods are pretty tough if you dont intend regularly revving past 7000rpm. wouldnt hurt to get them shotpeened though, and replace the rod bolts.
Cheers
Phil
