dude, don't worry about buying the gearbox seperatly, if you need to do the conversion, just buy the car straight out, if you get a gearbox, it'll cost you just as much to get the rest.
Unless you can get a good price from a wrecker but I doubt it. I managed to get a manual RA60 that had a blown engine for 300 for my conversion.
