I think there is one there for 9k at the moment. It would be a good buy if your bro could stretch the extra grand. As for why i bought a cressy:- I needed a car big enough to use as the family bus without being a big, soggy, hard to park barge like my previous car was(current shape verada). It also has the added bonus of RWD which is rare in a jap car which also makes it easier and cheaper to drop a new motor in than a camry or magna. I am also prefer jap cars over the local offerings due to quality and refinement. That is a personal opinion of course but I drove a BA fairmont for 3000kms recently and was appalled at the build quality and refinement(or lack of) the thing. On top of all that I'm surpised at its standard performance. Its no HSV but goes quite well and I know if I blow the motor up, I can always put a 1jz in it, even have the nod from the missus [Report message to a moderator]
