If you're just talking about pipe to feed the airbox from under the bumper or similiar, go to town on the size, biggest is better simply to let in as much air as possible. However, with the pipe from the throttle body>airbox, it's often best to take a look at what the manufacturer did - use a smooth, one piece pipe the same diameter and length as stock, for a good starting point, just without nasty resonance boxes etc.
