Mon, 05 May 2003 16:30 lol.. i would love to see a VL that can do a legit drift.. and i mean a real one thats a rare treat... as far as Mr Plodd goes.. names would be hidden, anything that we do will be as controlled as i can arrage.. naturally we will be putting in safety precautions.. the idea of the guide is to start off basic and make it go up from there.. so eventually we will hit new things, because of the types of cars we are hoping to get involved.. as to the hosting.. it wont be on toymods, i wouldnt want to harm its reputation... or anything else for that matter... it will be on my site, and on my forums.. www.iron-phantoms.cjb.net www.katsu-forums.cjb.net I'd love to see anyone do anything about that.. its my mate in the UK's private server.. so thats the place to put it.. i just have to arrange the people, the recording, and the times.. and then get started.. we are planning to give a full rundown of the vehicles that we are using, what you could use to make them safter, why we are using those things for what reason, how we are doing it in this vehicles, and why we do it different from one vehicle setup to another.. the idea is to hit all the tiny stuff no one reads about, and to show how the techs are done in each case, blah blah blah.. same stuff i said before once im back on the road full time ill get my mates out with the video and ill get some sidewyas through the zig-zag and up by mudairing weir, just so i can record osme info and get used to it all again.. mebbe ill get a chance to own the 180sx with the bad setup that "drifts" around there but if you are interested in having a part in this.. PM me or email me.. even if you only want to do some writing, or pictures.. whatever.. at the present moment we need people to fill all positions.. and we need drivers.. quite a few, so that we hav emore points of view.. the more the better. this is also a good chance for us all to improve our skills while we do it, and learn from each other.. which i have never seen happening over here.. the guide would be like having someone to poke you in the ribs when you screw up Sorry its so long winded again.. im trying to find out who wants in.. and im struggling with the sleep thing.. i cant do it at the moment.. i just got send a video rom an old friend of me at mundairing weir.. and i wish i was there now.. :'( also.. this guide isnt just gonna be like Drifting 101.. its gonna be fun too.. .otherwise it wouldnt ever get done Anyhow.. dump me an email.. or join my forum and bug me about it there.. or email me. or pm.. whatever.. im online somewhere at all times Shutting up now.
