The alternator on mine went over Christmass. I went from wrecker to wrecker looking for one but no luck. I found one from a ST162 that is the same make (ND), same physical size, same plugs on the back and bolts up no problems. I think this alternator puts out more power than the stock unit, about 2-3 volts.
Don't even bother going to an auto electrician. They wanted about $250 to renew mine. Bought the above one for $70.00
