Since when were aus spec sprinters ae85's?
I'm yet to see an ae85 on the road in Aus..
All i've seen are 4ac and 4age ae86s..

it's widely acknowledged that the oz-spec AE86 is in fact an AE85,with the 4AC instead of a 3AC. the 100c larger engine is the only part of our cars that differs.
the open diff,solid disc front,drum rear,interior spec,no power mirrors or windows,and the lack of climate control all are ae85 items.
the car is STAMPED AE86,but it was built as an AE85.
stamped 6 for the 1600cc lump,over the 1500 that the JDM ae85 has.
