I disagree.
The engine makes the car, dosen't it?
ae85 = 3A
ae86 = 4A
the spec of the brakes,interior, climate control, etc would come down to the grade, weather it be a GT or a GTAPEX. because according to toyota, if it's got a 4a, it's an ae86, if it's got a 3a, it's an ae85.
There are different grades for ae85/ae86's, the GTV, GT APEX, GT are all ae86's (with the 4age or 4ac). The GL, SR and the SE are all ae85s (with the 3au).
So Yes, the Sprinter isn't a GT APEX or GTV, but it's not an ae85 either.
