Here are some numbers from our dyno days.
3rd gen 1G-GTE. Air filter. 2.5" exhaust. 11psi (stock): 127.8kW 2nd gen 1G-GTE. Air filter. 3" straight through pipe. 14psi: 139kW 3rd gen 1G-GTE. Air filter. 3" with no muffler. 14psi: 153.2kW
A stock 200SX has a 32% drivetrain loss (147kW shows as 100kW on the dyno), so if we take that figure and adjust the dyno readings, you get these numbers at the flywheel. 187.9kW 204.4kW 225.3kW
The drivetrain loss on these old Celicas will be higher than a new car though, so the actual flywheel numbers should be higher.
The 1G-GTE makes a lot of power with very minimal mods...
