i'm having a similar problem with the aftermarket tacho in my corona, i got the tacho when i had my 18RC flickered bad, got the 18RGU and when i accelerated it would jump bad when accelerating hard {hit 8000rpm and i could still gain 20kph} it has settled down a bit but was bad at drags tonite, i have already had it replaced once
