Sun, 11 May 2003 01:09 just be careful with unichip or ecus that modify the map sensor signal the way they work is they take a value from the fuel map and use it elsewhere on the map where u need it so u can only richen the mixture to the richest amount on the map its hard to explain i dont really like piggy back computers ive only installed one unichip and had hassles with it and hp gain wasnt enough to justify 1200 bucks it cost the customer if yr charade is efi then im pretty sure the dizzy is electronic i used to work for diahatsu and i thought only the 3 cyl engines had points dizzy so check on yr dizzy if it has a green plug with 4 wires on it i think its been awhile since ive worked on one but if it is points dizzy maybe u could put an electronic dizzy in it and get a decent computer so u can then have fuel and ignition mapping [Report message to a moderator]
