Grant: you're the only person on this forum that I know of that believes that,but hey,that's your right.
I personally don't believe the car is a true ae86 unless it left the factory with a twin cam,but that is just me being picky. either way,the car is still fun.
Adam: I am pretty sure the sprinter diff is an "S" series.
the open oz-spec (ae85) diffs are 6.4",where the JDM LSDs are 6.7". both are bloody small.
if you're considering serious power in the future,and/or abusing the car,I'd be looking at getting a conversion done using something stronger,like a borg warner unit.
