sideshow Forums Junkie Location: sydney Registered: March 2003	Re: 1UZ: who can wire up stock ECUs Tue, 13 May 2003 08:23 i have over 6 to 7 yrs experience in toyotas i have done many 4a series enignes and after awhile u get to know the wires 1uz are same theres nothin to complicated bout them i think ive never done one but i cant be harder than a late model 1jzte which i did in a cressida i usually knock a car of in a day if all goes right and if the engine is goin into an easy car like an old car its piss easy to hook up relays n stuff hard part is the automatic so im not to sure there but if the wiring of the front cut is there then hteres not too much probs i make my own diagrams when i do a new job if i have time so newxt time its easier like today i did a 1jzgte in an early 2 door soarer which originally had a 7m in 7 hrs and that included hookin up the power/economy switch and overdrive tooo airfare is only 200 bucks i read the article in zoom about 1500 to wire up a 1uz i cant justify that price but i have not done one b4 so i dont know how long it would take me but if it takes me longer then my loss im not tryin to rip people off a usually day of 7 hrs work at a mechanics at say 70 bucks an hr if yr car was gettin worked on is about 500 bucks so how long does it take u to do the wiring if someone sent me a loom i could do it in my spare time so i wouldnt loose much but when i go onsite to the job i like to finish the job in a day but anyway im not here to compete against other people im tryin to start my own business and tell people what i can do only way to learn is to do more jobs [Report message to a moderator]
