Guest	Re: flange 1j turbos onto 1g manifold? Fri, 17 May 2002 01:42 Adapter plates could be made by your exaust man. Very simple concept, just a 10mm plate with countersunk bolts on one side. I even had mine machined so it didn't require gaskets. I have been considering this kind of arrangement for my 1j. twin rb20 turbo's or maybe something else. You only neeed to sort out oil and water lines then. I have heard of someone who put twin rb20's on his 1j but using a custom exhaust manifold, general concensus was that the 3-4000$ it ended up costing was not worth the gain. however with adapterplates instead of a $2000 manifold it may just be worth it. I think he made nearly 350 rwhp. (limit of stocko's in <300.) Something to think about [Report message to a moderator]
