I dont know exact sizes etc but i use to work in both these industries.
The largest aircraft engine with a turbo i ever worked on was 720 cubic inches flat eight which i think equates to about 12 litres their were larger radial engines that i worked on wich were about 1820 cubic inch but these had superchargers.
I think youd have more luck and joy with a turbo designed for a diesel application this is because aircraft generally have a price tag to suit. If you want to investigate price try serches on these engine manufactures and parts distributers
