Here's a snippet of info.
I have 3 1J's in my possesion, 2 supra motors and 1 chaser motor.
Early supra engines have smooth and glossy plastic cam covers and coil vents. They also have dipsticks that use a piece of cable rather than a strip of steel.
Early 1J's have serpentine belt tensioners that have "LITENS" written on them and are made in CANADA?? This model also have steel pulleys on them. Late ones have plastic idlers.
