The biggest turbo made that I know of is a little on the large side for a car, considering it's bigger than a bloody whole car! I read about this somewhere back when I was doing engineering at uni, used on a diesel engine for power generation, one thing I can remember about the engine itself was it had a stroke of around 95cm (thats CM, not MM!), 12 cylinders, a bore who-knows-how-big, and a massive (or was it a pair?) turbo to assist it to produce 10,000+hp at some unbelieveably low RPM. Of course, look to ocean liners for big engines
