Yes ... OBX seats would have been the other range for me to consider apart from Sparco ... however I got my Autotecnica ones off from a fellow Toymodder for a cheaper price so I can't complain - ADR complied as well so no probs.
Also, putting in a race harness will mean you lose the use of your back seats.
Yes ... Bride are expensive but I wouldn't pay that much for a seat (& not many other ppl for that matter) unless I wanted the name or was using it for race purposes - even than, you'd find that a Sparco Sprint seat will probably be just as good a seat and the cheapest 'quality' one you'd find at around $450 for one. With a potential saving of more than a grand over a Bride $3-4k seat, all that extra money could then go into fitting the seats & the compliance cost.
The Cobra Trophy is another seat to consider at around $399 but it's similar to the Autotecnica in that it's not too form hugging but still comfortable for the road.
Sat in a Sparco Sprint seat once and would have bought it but the Autotecnica seats came up and for the same price, I'd end up with two seats rather than one.
